About IIT Bombay

The Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is used to admit students to IIT Bombay’s 4 year, 5 year, and 2 year programmes. It also provides a comprehensive graduate programme in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics that leads to doctorate degrees. There are now 15 academic departments, 20 centers, a school of excellence, and four multidisciplinary programmes, including a Management Program, within the university.
