What will you do as a Human Resources Business Partner?
- Develop and manage effective business relationships, working collaboratively with colleagues and business leaders at all levels of organization to drive key HR and business priorities
- Advise business leaders on HR solutions, programs, procedures, implications and risks of proposed business initiatives:
- Execute talent and performance management practices
- In partnership with Senior HRBP, assess leadership succession and strengthening leadership depth and capability through integrated leadership programs and development opportunities
- Identify ways to capitalize and improve upon the employee experience, including assessing Employee Engagement Survey scores and development and execution of action plans designed to improve employee experience
- In collaboration with Recruitment, provide strategies to source, retain and develop people in order to meet business needs
- Provide advice and counsel on how to resolve issues and concerns in a way that meets the needs of the individual and RBC in partnership with other sources of expertise within the organization
- In partnership with Compensation, provide compensation recommendations using sound knowledge of HR policies, standards and practices to support good governance
- Monitor emerging market trends and data to generate insights and knowledge to influence and support the business to successfully plan for short and long term workforce issues and succession requirements
- Provide effective leadership and/or support for strategic HR projects and initiatives as well as contributing to continuous process improvement to enhance employee and manager experience and/or adherence to all applicable legislation and policies
- Partner effectively with other sources of expertise in HR to provide advice and counsel to leaders on how to resolve issues and concerns in a way that meets the needs of the individual and the organization.
- You will also be conversant with HR Data and its analysis so that you can inform decision-making and recommend actions around important topics such as Diversity and Inclusion and Engagement
- Contribute to an exceptional employee experience through strong people leadership practices that exemplify the Leadership Model to inspire, support and empower employees to achieve their potential.
Qualification required for a Human Resources Business Partner ?
- Solid foundation of Leadership Model traits with a desire to take them to the next level
- Undergraduate degree or diploma
- 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources, with some portion of that working directly with senior leaders
- A hunger for impact
- Ability to prioritize high volume, competing priorities for multiple stakeholders and in turn deliver balance of advice and counsel with strong execution capabilities
- Ability to understand, assess and respond to complex situations and provide strategic and innovative solutions to drive results
- Strong relationship management capabilities including the ability to impact, influence, and constructively challenge senior leaders
- Solid aptitude for change management capabilities and leadership effectiveness
- Strong business acumen, growth mindset, and consultative orientation
