What will you do as the Behavioral UX Designer?

Establish and lead the craft and value of behavioral design as integral to high quality customer experiences.

Lead the development of a behavioral design framework as part of our overall design principles.

Lead behavior mapping and ideation activities with experience journey and platform teams.

Partner closely with Digital and Customer Experience teams and stakeholders to develop experiments that can be tested and inform our experience strategy and product directions.

Collaborate with Behavioral Researchers on demonstrating how behavioral science methods may be integrated into user journeys and features.

Partner with Design Strategy leaders to create forward-thinking digital experiences that leverage behavior design methodologies.

Evangelize the craft behavioral design across the design and product organization.

Provide visible thought leadership at TIAA by presenting, speaking, writing & actively contributing to internal forums and outside professional groups.

Qualification required for Behavioral UX Designer?

University (Degree) Preferred

7+ years experience related work experience which could include UX design, User Research, Service Design, UX Architecture. 5+ years experience with integrating Behavior Design methodologies across multiple channels, both physical and digital experiences

Bachelor’s degree (preferred emphasis on Behavioral Science, Design and/or Research, Psychology, Human Development, User Experience and/or Product Design or equivalent experience

Actively evangelize behavioral research and design by building relationships and participating in cross-functional/cross-organizational working groups

Are well-versed in all aspects the UX design and research practices as well as technology used to create the customer experiences and can communicate and influence future directions

Deep knowledge and experience with behavioral science concepts and directing behavioral design experiments

Deep knowledge of UX and user research best practices, design thinking and service design

Ability to lead workshops and co-creation activities with both internal teams and external customers

Experience working in a cross-channel environment, including desktop/laptop, mobile, devices and brick-and-mortar locations
